Over on oD Today I blogged the latest embarassing internationally broadcast statements from Jylland-Posten’s cultural editor Flemming Rose. On CNN he said he doesn’t regret publishing the cartoons, just like a girl who was raped on a Friday night wouldn’t regret wearing a mini-skirt. Huh?? He also repeatedly held up (offensive?) cartoons of Jesus and the Star of David. His strategy is just wrong on so many levels… Oh, he also said he would republish anti-Semitic cartoons from this Iranian newspaper. JP editor Carsten Juste has since said this isn’t going to happen. Perhaps he should do the interviews himself from now on?
