Pet lobster 7
Aug24
This won’t be interesting to everyone, but my friend Bill has a friend named Ann who has a pet lobster named Marcel. Lobsters can grow very old if you don’t eat them. This was recently the subject of some discussion after a visit to Montauk, NY where they sell lobster sandwiches (apologies to lobster lovers).

I don’t really eat lobster. I know it’s supposed to be super delicious and a real treat but I’m not really hip to it. When you walk into a restaurant tne lobsters are in the tank with their antennae floating around. Ew. It kinda grosses me out.
Luckily they never molt in restaurants.
I ate a Cuban lobster once and got so allergic I had to go to the hospital. I bear no grudges.
huh?! yeah…..ok……
Want to see Marcel in action? It’s low quality…

[...] I myself found both subjects interesting enough to write about in the past (here and here). But if you are one of the curious souls who have searched for information relating to [...]
I am the Anne (don’t miss out the ‘e’) who has the lobster called Marcel. This page has nothing about lobster sex. Is it supposed to have? Marcel is actually a girl. I thought Marcel was male, but one day (s)he got all stressy and laid some eggs. I’m a children’s writer and I’m writing a book which features Marcel, so at some time in the future there might be an update to go here…
